Hi Jackson– can I get complete song list and how often do you post new songs?
List sent.
Hi Jackson,
I have been a premium member for quite a few years and love it Recomend your site to everyone. I have been looking at King of the road on your Utube video but it is not on the site. Unfortunatly my utube screws up at the critical point where you explain the intro. Just wondering if you could email me the tabs please. Many thanks Bob
It’s on my free site Robert. freeguitarmentor.com
Hi Jackson,
I'm trying to sign into my prremium membership. I don't see an option to do so on the website. I've been a loyal follower for these past years. I look forward to accessing the materials and information you diligently supply on your website. Given I'm retired, now, I have the time and enthusiasm to pursue the gutiar. Your excellent site will be my focus in doing so. Keep up the great work !!!
Sincerely,
Dennis Strack
Have replied and sent you a discount link Dennis!
Hey Jackson I just like your style of teaching. In the past I’ve learned a lot from you. Keep up the good work. You are absolutely better than the best of the rest. Keep up the good work and have a happy day . Dan Mason.
Thanks Dan! Couldn’t ask for a better, more appreciative student!
Hi Jackson I"ve been a member of your relaxed lessons for almost 2 years. Unfortunately I have been forced to give it up, I would like to revisit my lessons, and your site explains to ues the list on the right sidebar, however the list is not there and I am unable to log in to anything but your welcome back offers. Please help
There you go Ron ….. back in business!
Hi Jackson do you have other sites with a different song list? By the way Love what your doing!
Thanks Bill! I have three other sites but they not content filled yet. They may be someday One country, one folk and one British Invasion!
can i get the full list of songs? does the premium give you all songs 24\7 and is lifetime?
Thanks Pat …. I’ve sent them your way. 24/7 and Lifetime … yes!
Sir,
Could you send me the song list and details on how to buy the premium membership, thanks.
Done Tim … thanks!
I got hooked on your website by listening to your lesson of "song sung blue" on yourube. Now that I am a member I wanted to start with that song but your search function says song not found. Is that song not part of your library?
Song Sung Blue is part of my Free Guitar Mentor package. I try not to repeat songs if possible on the membership site. If you remember I did send you, as requested, the complete song catalogue for Song Mentor. Here’s the link for Song Sung Blue although I suspect you have already seen it. Feel free to explore that site though for many other free selections. http://freeguitarmentor.com/campfire-songs/rock/song-sung-blue-guitar-lesson/ Cheers!
Hey, Jackson
Looks like I finally made it to all 200+ songs. My ability has skyrocketed and I still have a lot more songs to learn. My family actually asks me to play now. Thank you so much.
Lon
Thanks so much Lon. It’s always rewarding for me to receive this kind of feedback from someome who followed through and reaped the benefits that I had hoped for. Well done!
Easy to follow your detailed songs!keep smiling!
Thanks Les!
I'm interested in your song list and lifetime access for lessons. What is the difference between that and what I see currently?
Hi Candice. I will send a complete song list to your email address. I’m not exactly sure what you mean by “what I see currently” but the difference between a subscription and the lifetime membership is that with the lifetime you get instant access to all 208 selections and of course that access is good for life. With a subscription you receive one or two songs per week until you cancel or until you reach the 208 songs. I hope that clarifies for you. By far and away the most popular membership is the Lifetime Premium. People just seem to prefer being able to look through the entire song list and tackle the songs they would prefer to learn first. Take care!
hi Mace did you get a chance to check out that acoustic versions of the break up song on wolfgangs vault on youtube that i had written you about.?
Yes Dale sorry. Greg’s guitar a little bit rough for my liking but but it's more or less how I do it if I were performing it acoustically. Would be nice to have the riff in there of course but he avoided that LOL!
I had bought the premium membership and i only see a couple of songs. I know there is over 200 but cannot figure out where they are.
I’ve sent you several replies directly via your registered email Richard. Everything has been dealt with and fixed!
"Your the Best teacher Bro.;and I mean that..and l've played a long time to know how much I Don't know. And I've seen all kinds of Cats think ,they know how to play.I grew up in a musical Family. You'ev got the right disposition to teach…Keep up the good Work Man!".You"ve got my attention..
Just reading some comments and realized that I hadn't replied to your kind assessment of what I do. Thanks so much and really glad to have your attention!
Hi Jackson,
Love the site!! You mention to drop you a line regarding a deal on the premium content. I'd love to join if I can scrape together the cash. Thanks so much!!
Mace, what fingerpicking songs do you offer?
Fingerpicking is not a style that is featured often on Song Mentor. There may be a few selections, but the majority teach pick/strum technique.
Loved your lesson on Johnny b Goode. Can you get me a great deal on your premium content
thanks
Consider it done Clay!
Dear Sir (Jackson)
After all I've read on your comments I believe that you my friend are a great TEACHER
I do come from a family of entertainment ; I for one would love to join, but at my financial demise I am straped..you are indeed one hell of a teacher ..I've seen your videos (just great)…I am a Vietnam Nam Vet and a lot of your songs that you teach bring me back to the days when my buddies and I could hardly wait to get back home…..God Bless you my man…keep on playing…wish I could afford you….
Thanks so much …… we will connect down the road I’m sure!
Dear Jackson,Would you be so kind and resend me the link that you to me about 2 or 3 months ago where I was to click on for me to gain access to songmento songs and to be on my own. But unfortunately I somehow erased it before I could do anything about it.So would you please send it to me again.Mean while I'm having a great time with the lesssons.
Cheers

Hey Jackson. Long time member here and love your songs and the way you present them. I have a questions though. I could have sworn that you did Garden Party by Ricky Nelson but I can't find it. Did you pull it or am I losing my mind. Keep up the good work.
Hal
It’s still there Hal. Try using the SEARCH function.
Hello Jackson, I just finished the lesson for " I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry" It brought back a lot of memories from 1966. I agree with your comment about the B.J. Thomas version being the best. As always, the lesson as great. I appreciate your teaching techniques. I started playing about a year ago, at age 65, and love every minute of learning to play. Looking forward to future lessons.
Sincerely,
Dave McKinnon
Well …. thanks so much Dave. It’s nice to hear that your heart as well as your head is in on the learning! Take care!

Jackson, I saw your Baby Blue on YouTube. Nice. So, I come to your website. I'm interested in the Premium package, but I'd like to see the names of the songs of the full catalog. I can't seem to find access to just the names. Is there a place I can go to see the full catalog names only.
Click on the tow links entitled Greatest Songs on Earth and Need a Twist … Those will give you a pretty good idea Rick! Cheers!
Hi Jackson,
I signed up for the Premium option last week; I want to emphasize that I really like the format of the website. I, especially, appreciate your teaching style. Your passion for guitar and appreciation of music makes it all come together and happen. The program is worth every penny. Hi Jackson from South Africa.
love your info and help I thought I could play guitar which I have been doing since 1963, It's only now that while I'm now in my 70's I'm starting still learn to play properly. I play almost every day and try and learn a new riff or tune solo every week which I can now do With the use of your site and lessons on YouTube. Thanks .thanks. And thanks again. Cedric
I was looking for a lesson/rendition for honkey talk woman? I have learned some great things already and have improved on some songs I knew!! Having fun. How is that Aria guitar? Acoustic electric?
Hi Leonard …. good for you! I like the Aria … it’s an oldie but goodie ….. unfortunately a tech removed the pickup (his choice not mine) so it’s just acoustic at the moment. Take care!
Hello from France,
Thanks a lot Jackson for everythings.
Hey Jackson, awesome site! I can't get the video for Long Train Runnin' to play. Everything plays great! I love the solo/riff work on Just What I Needed!
Thanks
Thanks so much Danny!
Jackson , I'm really glad I joined Songmentor . It is a pleasure to learn to play guitar with your methods. You present such a pleasant way to learn guitar and I like the little bit of history that you present on each song . It's been only a short while and my fingers are sore and getting calloused . I love your site and it's a pleasure to have a fellow Canadian teach such a nice variety of songs . Keep them coming Jackson .
What a great site. I'm a recently retired guy who is setting aside the time to try and learn the guitar. It seems a little tough at this age but what the heck. I love your song choices and am looking forward to your posting Sweet Home Chicago. Thanks for making it fun!!
Bill
I’m so glad you are pleased Bill! Welcome to Song Mentor!
Jackson – My Maria. Outstanding. Thanks from an Old Fogey that listeened and loved BW's music from his Austin days. You have strong feel for the music, and you bring back great memories.
The memories are there for me as well Mark. Thanks for the kind-spirited post!
Thank you Jackson, for getting back to me so quickly. Also, thanks for being so patient when explaining something that should have been obvious to me!
What a great site! I can see that I'm going to get WAAYY more than my money's worth here!
No worries Bary. Great to have you on board!
I'm posting this to say a massive thanks to Jackson. He really makes learning the guitar so much fun. As a teacher myself I think the ease with which he approaches teaching the chords and strumming patterns/techniques is really impressive. Not only that the man has real and genuine soul…love the intros to the lessons and the bit of background. This is very good value for money and I wish Jackson much success with the programme. He deserves it. If you're kinda suspect and unsure don't be….you won't regret it. Thanks Jackson and greetings from the Emerald Isle (Ireland) 🙂 If you ever come to Ireland give me a shout and I'll show you around Dublin 🙂 – Tom
Kind words indeed! And that may be an offer I can’t refuse somewhere down the road.Take care Tom!
Jackson,
I was a professional for years, back in the 60s-70s, and haven't played guitar much in the last 30 years. I just retired from my own CPA business after 45 years and took the gutar back up. I am playing professionally again on a limited basis. I joined your premium songmentor group about five months ago and am just thrilled with your style of guitar lessons. Everything you are looking for, the lyrics and chords, an excellent guitarist (you) teaching the rifts, the strumming, and the vocal parts, it's all so comprehensive and organized. You have developed a wonderful system for guitar lessons here, and I look forward to relying on you for mentoring for a long time to come.
Cliff Nash
Thanks Cliff! I appreciate your positive comments and I'm glad you Are involved. Take care!

Hi, Jackson-Mentor,
I really appreciate what you have done and what you are doing. Sounds and looks great! Your site inspired me to resume my almost forgotten drive with guitar. Your interpretation of You Cant Do That riff is fantastic! This the first Beatles song I heard long-long time ago so it means a lot to me. Your friendly and cheerful teaching manner is appealing. I think your tutorials are useful both for beginners and those having guitar expertise. Steady as you go, Jackson, good luck!
Vladimir in Moscow (Russia).
