I am going to start a british invasion band.  My main focus is to be able to perfect approx. 40 songs from the period of 1963 to 1999. All from the british genre.  How much of yourseries covers the songs I am looking for assistance on. I can probably get a lot of them off of youtube, but it woud help to be able to get them form one source.  I am in the medium skill set but am a very quick study. I just need quality education with both the chords, strumming and the riffs.

Hi Scott. First of all, great project! A buddy and I who is from Liverpool are putting together about a 20 song Beatles unplugged show with background stories etc. We are really looking forward to it. With regards to your question, I went through the list. Of the 208 selections that are featured on Song Mentor, 49 of them fit the bill … or almost 25%. Of those, more than half are British invasion from the 60s and the rest fit into that timeslot you mentioned. I’ve included a sale link to my Premium program which gives you full access to all the songs instantly and for life. It is ideally suited for intermediate players. Whether you find it of interest or not, take care and all the best with your project.

Jackson, I found your rendition of Me and Bobby McGee on YouTube, but I didn't find it here on Song Mentor site.  Did I miss it here?  I'm using your song selections to broaden my repertoire and skills.  Thanks for such a great site for us budding guitar players :)

Hello AJ. Not all of the songs that I created and posted on YouTube appear in Song Mentor. In some cases, I redid the lesson and expanded it for Song Mentor but very often they are separate entities.

I'm trying to get an idea of the songs you provide, do you have a list?  I'm primarily into country/rock.  Examples like older country such as Merle Haggard, Johnny Cash and newer stuff like Chris Young (getting you home, tomorrow)  In the rock area, some classics like Freebird and sweet home Alabama, Eagles (Hotel California) and Bon Jovi (Wanted Dead or Alive) and newer stuff like Daughtry (Feels like tonight).  My son and I have been considering learning Canon in D which is a bit off that track but just shows my diversity.
