RELAXED, ROCKIN or R&R?
We all have different musical tastes. If you exclusively love classical music, opera, heavy metal, hip hop or grunge … now would be a good time to exit the site! I've essentially divided my lessons into two genres or membership levels. First the RELAXED level! This level includes Soft Rock, Country/Bluegrass Music, Folk Music and Campfire Songs, etc. All of the songs are among THE GREATEST SONGS N EARTH! Then we have the ROCKIN level! This level features Heavier Rock, Classic Rock, Country Rock, Blues, Vintage Rock 'n Roll, etc. All of these songs are also among THE GREATEST SONGS ON EARTH! Finally, because some of you will be more like me and enjoy both of these styles, we offer the R&R level. If you decide to grab an R&R membership, you will be entitled to receive a weekly lesson in each of the RELAXED and ROCKIN groups. The R&R membership is offered at a significant discount! Choices, choices, choices? You can click on THE GREATEST SONGS ON EARTH tab to see some sample songs but let me summarize:
RELAXED = Soft Rock, Country, Bluegrass, Folk, Campfire
ROCKIN = Heavier Rock, Classic Rock, Country Rock, Blues, Old Time Rock 'n Roll
R&R = The Best of Both Worlds!

what is the difference between guitarmentor.com and Songmentor.com as far as song content?
Hi Robert. The content at freeguitarmentor.com is basically simplified lessons for a number of really great songs. At songmentor.com the lessons are more detailed, more organized and longer. Hope that helps.

Hi Jackson,
It was 1967 when I first started playing an old folk guitar I bought from a second hand store. I was hooked. I had dreams like everyone else of playing in a rock band. Instead I became an Irish Folk Singer. I was browsing the web a couple of months ago and discovered your website. Guitar Mentor is amazing. I picked up my Gibson Les Paul Signature Guitar, which I haven't played in years. The lessons and song selections are great. Rock on!
Thanks.
Many thanks Al! Enjoy!
Hi Jackson,
Can't wait to get my teeth into some of those songs on your list.
